The Kronos comics
What are they?
The Kronos comics, Kronos wow comics or "Tekai's comics" is a serie of humoristic and thought-producing drawings about the experiences of the
author and the different players on the World of Warcraft 1.12 vanilla private server
Kronos. I began drawing them in November 2015 a bit after I started
blogging and made them public by posting on the Kronos forums
here on the 22th December.
What do they talk about?
Some of those comics are about the
Zul'gurub release, the PvP state, the meaning of "blizzlike", gamemaster's decisions, new player
challenges, the current bugs or general issues, the server
crashes or events, special player behaviours, oddities, and much more.
For what purposes?
Because I am very busy and I thought it would be a good idea to start one more project that I don't have the time for. The comics aim at entertaining and encouraging the server's players (and maybe moderators) to think and reflect about Kronos and the decisions and story that they are making together. They are also cool to share, they might stimulate interactions between players and they offer me a personal first experience and a way to both develop and test my skills.
What about the author, is he related to the Kronos team?
I am not affiliated in any way with Kronos, I do this mostly for fun and as a personal exercise. I am free to draw about any and all aspects of Kronos, whether I like them or not (though I do try to remain respectful at all times). The point of views of the different characters do not necessarily represent my own and are often exagerated for entertainment purposes.
Where can I find them? And how often, at what hour?
The most recent comics can be found on the blog by using the
kronoscomic label, like
this. Since the 20th December 2015 the newest updates are also posted on the Facebook page
here. The current plan is 2-3 comics per week. If you want to start at the beginning, the first comic can be found
here.
Can I give you some ideas?
I tend to have too many ideas and the issue is mostly that I don't have the time to draw them ^^. Otherwise you can share some ideas with me by sending a private message on the Kronos forums,
here. Do not expect too much about it though.
Can I share your drawings or post them on other forums/etc?
Sure, go ahead ! I highly encourage you to share them wherever you like as long as you don't claim those comics as your own and give a link to the original drawing.
What about the future? When will you stop?
I currently (24th december 2015) have over 25 extra comics that I have done and plenty of ideas. While I can't tell about what will happen next it is likely that I will post a comic a day for a month and then slow down due to studies. Only the future will tell.
